GUM REMOVAL

Well if you have kids around, then you may have gum on your shoes.  First, don't scream at the kids...just don't let them have gum unattended (smile).

Ice It Away

Try scapping it off with a dull knife (butter knife) or even on the sidewalk to get the excess gum off first.  You will need a plastic bag and ice cubes.  Place your shoe on top of the ice cubes, keeping only the sole of the shoe on the ice.  Let the gum freeze on the sole of the shoe.  The use the knife to scrap off the gum, using your knife carefully.

WD-40

Another way is to use WD-40, if you have a can laying around the house.  Spray the area of the gum and let it sit for a minute.  Use a rag or towel to wipe off the gum and the oils from the sole of the shoe.  Use and additional clean towel or rag to clean off the rest of the gum reside.  Please discard paper towl or rage in it's rightful place.

Good LuckTo You All!
